First Study Visit The First study visit was organized in Rome, Italy. The study visit took place between the 26th - 31st of May 2019. The Israeli delegation included representatives from Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Justice, Council of Higher Education, Central Bureau of Statistics and the IDF. The aim of the visit was to establish a channel of communication and exchange of information between the authorities overseeing the Italian National Qualifications Framework and their Israeli counterpart as well as meetings with the National(Italian) Contact Points of the EQF, who are involved in the referencing and the management and updating of the Italian NQF. Study visits under this twinning initiative are composed of the following: The first part is aimed to introduce the participants and collect information about the hosting institution, its function, role and experience in the context of the Italian National Qualifications Framework development.The second part is dedicated to a discussion with the Israeli Delegation about the main challenges and obstacles encountered (a Q&A session is foreseen);The last part envisions a visit to the hosting institution. Follow-up: The Israeli experts are asked to draft a final report on the results of the visit in order to disseminate the acquired information to other Israeli interested parties based on the identified needs. A second cycle of meetings will be organized during the Twinning project, in order to look at some items in more depth.
