First steering committee

The second steering committee

The Member State partners, Ministry of education and EU Delegations representatives met on January 21^st 2019 for the second steering committee. The meeting held in Jerusalem at the Ministry of foreign affairs. The team updated the members about the sectorial working groups meetings held with each of the pilot sectors, the outputs obtained by the Italian experts during the reported period, the current activities and objectives achieved to date and presented the new communication and visibility plan (CVP) and the interim report for the period covering October to December 2018.

Third Steering Committee Meeting

The third steering committee meeting covering the second project quarter was held on 13^th May 2019 while the reports were submitted to the EUD on the 7^th of April according to schedule. EIDHR and Twinning projects Ms. Estelle Kaddouch represented the European Union Delegation to Israel (EUD). The Israeli MoE and Italian MIUR were represented by BC and MS Project Leaders, the RTA and the RTA Counterpart. Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other members of the steering committee were present as observers.

The third interim report was approved with minor adjustments requested by the EUD. No other major issues were identified.

Fourth Steering Committee Meeting

The fourth Steering Committee meeting, covering the fourth project's quarter, was held on 2^nd of September 2019 while the reports were submitted to the EUD according to the planned schedule. Mrs. Estelle Kadouch represented the European Union Delegation to Israel (EUD). The Israeli MoE and the Italian MIUR were represented by BC and MS Project Leaders, the RTA and the RTA Counterpart. Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other members of the Steering Committee were present as observers.

Mrs. Claudia Fellus (RTA) informed the Steering Committee members on the Israeli Qualifications Database, also regarding the meeting with the Digital Israel, coordinated by the Prime Minister's Office. The EU Twinning project foresees the establishment of an on-line database of Israeli qualifications; Digital Israel is working on a similar project with the Joint Distribution Committee (as there are many similarities, both in the overall context of the website and database as well as the resources required to establish it). During the meeting, Digital Israel and the Joint representatives elaborated on the financial and human resources necessary to establish  similar database. For the Twinning project database, a governmental resolution (accompanied by a budget plan) should be adopted to set-up the infrastructure for developing the online tool. Mrs. Kadouch stated that the reporting on the project has become more coherent and in-line with the work plan as the activities progress. The EUD requested minor edits to the Fourth Interim Report. It was signed by the PLs while the requested modifications were sent on the following week.

Fifth Steering Committee Meeting

The fifth steering committee meeting took place at the Ministry of Education, on Kanfai Nisharim on 28 October 2019 covering the forth project quarter. Ms. Estelle Kaddouch represented the European Union Delegation to Israel (EUD). The Israeli MoE and Italian MIUR were represented by BC and MS Project Leaders, the RTA and the RTA Counterpart and other members of the steering committee were present as observers.

The fifth interim report was approved with minor adjustments requested by the EUD. No other major issues were identified. The participants agreed to meet on the 13.12.2019 for the Sixth Steering Committee
