Kick Off Meeting 30.08.2018 The event took place in Tel Aviv, at Mofet Teacher’s Training Institute on August 30, 2018. Ministry of Education sent the invitation for the Kick of Meeting and 88 applications were confirmed. The invitations for the event were sent to members of the Board of Directors, Working Group, ministries, national authorities and different potential stakeholders from education, industry, civil society, representatives of trade union, etc. The event was attended by 70 of the invitees. The Kick of Meeting was widely covered by both the Israeli and the Italian press, and two articles were published in the e-media format. For their contents: Italian PressIsraeli Press During the preparation of the KOM the first stakeholders list was provided by the Israeli representatives of the Twinning Team. The KoM event agenda was split into two sessions. The first session (9.30-12.40) Political representatives from Israel, Italy and EU explained their political commitment to the project and its importance to institutions at Israel and abroad. The representatives were: Mr Ori Herman, Senior Director of the Israeli Prime Minister’s office .Dr. Dalit Atrakchi, on behalf of Minister Naftali Bennet, Israeli Minister of Education.Mr. Lorenzo Fioramonti, the Undersecretary of the Italian Ministry of Education (MIUR).Mr. Emanuel Giauffret, the Ambassador of the European Delegation in Israel.During the session the Twinning Team explained to the participants (Working-Group (WG) members, national stakeholders, special guests and journalists who attended the event) the aim of the project and the roadmap to achieve it.The afternoon session included participants of the WG, Steering Committee and Stakeholders invited personally for an “Exchange of Technical information, and Open Discussion” with the project team representatives. The working table was addressed to generate trust in the NQF, involving all the interested parties, through bottom up approach, according to the results of the meeting between the Italian Delegation and representatives of EUD on Monday 15/01/2018.The audience showed high interest in the planned experts’ missions, objectives and expected results. Both the morning and the afternoon session, was dedicated to a Q&A with the participants.The discussion between the Italian team and the representatives of Israeli Ministries of Economy, Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Services, Ministry of Education, Bureau of Statistics, IDF and Council for Higher Education proved efficent as the representatives along with the experts designated certain dates for initial mapping of qualifications.
